Please Welcome Emmitt Lee Bierstedt

I am very excited to announce that we have received a call stating that I am going to be a big sister and I will be sharing this sweet blog sight. We received the call on the 10th of July and accepted him on the 11th after filling out the wonderful stack of papers. We have named him Emmitt Lee (Lee is my grandpa Walter's middle name, so those of you that know my grandpa he only cried for 10 minutes or so.) He was born January 24, 2008 so he is just about 6 months old. We are hoping for a call late October early November saying that his visa is ready and that he is ready to travel. Please pray for his speedy and safe trip home... I will be.

After the initial shock wore off of having two children who are 14 months apart, my parents are thrilled. As for me, I kissed his picture (to make it look good) and quickly passed them off to the next person. But don't worry, I will be a wonderful big sister in my own time... for now please check out his pictures.... he is about 2-3 weeks old in the blue sleeper... the other two he is about 5 months. The woman he is with is his foster mother who is taking care of him until he comes home. Gotta love the hair! I can soooo relate!
